New year, new goals, new-ish blog

by Mike McCabe

2013 was a big year for nVisium (Security). We shortened our name to nVisium, we grew by 300 percent, and took on new and interesting projects. As great as it was, we know 2014 will be a more exciting year for us.

One area we’re hoping to improve upon is sharing our research, experiences in trying to make code more secure and our own development progress via our blog. This year we plan to have a regular blog schedule with interesting topics throughout the year. We have been very fortunate to have several great people join the team with diverse backgrounds and interests who will bring different perspectives to the blog.

We will discuss topics such as Android security, Rails security, and application security tools & how to use them. We will announce training sessions, give insight on upcoming talks/conferences and such. We also have a couple folks newer to security who will be sharing their experiences and thoughts on topics like getting started in world of AppSec. So keep an eye out as we will be publishing information, news and announcements on a weekly basis.

2014 is set to be an even bigger year for nVisium and we hope to share some of our highlights here with you.
